Opinions on turbo mfgs

Here are some prices I've found.

Garret GT-42 T76 = $1400
Innovative GT-76 (Q-trim) = $1900
Turbonetics T-76 BB = $1670
MP-GT45 = $800

All these are supposed to be rated for around 900HP, so I don't understand the drastic difference in price. Anybody care to elaborate? Which ones have you guys tried and liked. Any others I should look at. I need 800 hp min. Thx.

I don't really know anything about those, but its a lot like engines..not all 408 ls1s are gonna cost more, because some have better components. maybe some of those are ball bearing turbos...liquid and oil cooled..it all depends.

I guess that's the answer I'm lookin for. I don't want to spend $2000 on a turbo that puts out less hp than a $1500 one. I've bought expensive parts before and than some other guy makes just as much hp with parts that cost %30 less than I spent.
Hopefully some other people have bought some of these and can give me opinions or even if they knew what extras were worth with the money. It's a gonna be in a road race car, mild built Ls1. Needs to make 800+HP before 7000rpms and be really reliable. Do I need a ball-bearing and/or an oil-fed turbo. What's the difference between q-trim and t-trim. Eventually I'll call all the companies but I don't always believe their sales pitch so I like to learn what I can before hand. Thx
