I got a turbo from my cousin , but im not sure what size it is it just says garret, he thinks its a 68mm? how do you determine what size a turbo actually is without buying new turbo with papers? any help would be great.

so I measured the "minor"end of the compressor wheel it measures 50mm , will this turbo make any power or is it a waste of time?

that belongs on a diesel, it has a, hold your breath, 1.32 hotside, that thing is huge, but it has a 70 compressor, so that is ok, i would call garrett and get a replacement hotside for it. shouldnt be too expensive. thats assuming the turbine wheel will fit, id call and ask a garrett dealer for sure, i wouldnt chuck it just yet, if you want to chuck it, ill pay the shipping and you can send it to me. lol
    .

    does it look like this

you could also check out zombie on ls1tech. for his gate that uses only part of the turbine until you reach a significant amount of boost. it will work, itll just spool slow.

^^^He measured the Inducer and it is only a 50mm turbo, its not even worth the hassle to install it.
