teal- 99 Z28 with an SS complex
well that is a fairly new block, it came out in march i think?
But it is the best bang for your buck. Several companies are already selling 480 long/short blocks and the lovely 454.
There is not many people that have one built up and boosted that i know of.
That and twin 76's, that would be overkill..................

It's a great block for sure...and yes it can support 2500hp but do you plan on putting the parts on it to support that kind of HP? If so I hope you have a big bank account and plenty of time because you'll be replacing parts faster than Hillary Clinton can change her mind......lol....but they are great blocks!!!! They have additional head bolts made just for boosted applications. And the price of the thing is the best thing!!!! Hold out for a few though because they are coming out with a tall deck version that can get you over 500 cubic inches!!!!!! Should be hitting the streets soon according to GM.....
I wouldn't go twin turbo at all......if you can get one to fit, I'd try an 88mm turbo....that would get you over 1000rwhp easily.....as far as Cam specs do what I did.....I called up COMP Cams and had them make one custom for me.........just figure out what you really want to do with the car and go from there......meaning track only car???? Some street use???? That sort of thing......

For 800 to 1000 why go with an LSX? Unless you have the cash then by all means do it. Otherwise just get a iron block for cheap. Get some good internals and go with either 408 or 370. Twin 67's will get you there just make sure to upgrade the rest of the car too!
