a little from the turbo guys

ok so hear it is, I bought anothr trans-am(99 ls7 clutch,and hort throw shifter) so th car is pretty muchone stock with 100000 on it. I want to turn it int a strip/street car. my question is avice on gears,cam,intake the works. but mainly i want to go with a twin turbo, I jut dont know anything about them. what dothey sound like?what can you use in conjunction with them? will it sound like and import with the blowback? I have read other site but you guys have proven to always provide he best info. thanks

Well, for starters you'll want to break that block apart or better yet just get a new one and build from there. You'll want to forge the bottome end to handle the boost. It's an expensive journey that's for sure. I assure you you're going to get a 100 different answers about F/I. As far as gears go, you dont want anything too extream. I run 3.50's in my Moser. You dont want too much gear. As far as the sound...well, it kinda sounds like a jet engine....lol....dont worry....wont sound like an import....

thanks I know it will be $$$$$$$$$ this is not my daily driver its a toy thats it. I was planning on spending about 15,000 on it so I am trying to get the best bang for my buck. I am gettng real tired of all the sti's and evo's and what not running around hear. I could care less about the mustangsI(well not really) the way I see it american muscle is american muscle( or canadian muscle for the f-body)
