    Intake manifolds for turbo.

Im ready to my intake manifold for the engine build. I have lloked far and wide and as far as I can tell, I think a cast Alum. intake will be the best choice. Has anyone had exp. with a high psi twin turbo setup? Im looking at the weiand 300-111.
Engine: 5.3L custom build. Twin Gt3040R. 12-16 psi with 93 oct.

I have been running 20 psi on the stocker,I would think any aftermarket aluminum would do fine

what ever you do dont go with a typoon intake. i had a ton of leaks plus its kinda heavy. i had a custom sheet metal intake made for mine. i heard great things about the edelbrock intake. no matter what, get a intake that has rubber o-ring that is set inside the intake. those typoons just use a paper gasket.

If i used any type of aluminum intake id just take it to a shop and have them grove it for the factory O ring seals, this is one of the best Ideas GM had in years reusable gaskets..

this is true but the typoon type is impossible to grove o-rings into it. the fuel injector spots wont allow you to make a good o-ring grove. i had one a tryed to make it work but failed. just check out the bottom of it you will see what i mean
