    If you had a powerdyne...

I have purchased a M6/LS1 car with a #6 powerdyne unit installed. I haven't had any luck selling it, so i'm considering leaving it on for a bit. If I were to remove the FMU/boost pump to install 42lb injectors/walbro 255 and a good tune could this be a reasonable/reliable combo? I suspect I'll eventually upgrade to a D1SC, but is this unit worth the effort if I already own it? Should I take it off and put in on the shelf? Any RWHP estimates?

Not a lot, they have no IC and make a lot of hot air. You could use methanol if you don't want to add an IC. Sooner or later though, regardless of how nicely you treat it, it's gonna break the belt inside.
