Any sts turbo cars out there?
looking for mods and hp numbers. Trying to get my tune ironed out and it just seems to not be getting what it should be. STS claims at 8lbs 509 at the rear wheels. I am running 8.5 lbs and 3.73 with art carr tranny and 2500 stall tci converter. ran best dyno 437hp 447 torque. also have kyb agx and bmr lca's, phb,ta with poly bushings. if you're out there post pics and numbers.

I run an OE ls1 w/LS6 intake STS GT67, racetronix kit, #42 inj., Nate's fuel rails, custom FMIC, 232/240@.050,M6 w/Dual centerforce clutch and flywheel, and some BMR susp. parts and a good tune.
I was at the dyno last year w/out the rails and the racetronix kit and put down 512 @ 9.5psi. but was leaning out near 5750rpm.
Haven't been back since the fuel kit and rails was installed and the cam was removed back to OE for now.

Here is AlaskaSS's dyno sheet on his 02 SS with the sts kit. Stock engine with a cam only. This was on a 114 deg day at 4,000 feet altitude in Las Vegas.

He had Garth Weaver in Vegas dyno tune it. Garth owns the quickest 6 speed, 8 second viper thats all over youtube. It was fattened up a little bit, but it's still over 500 rwhp idles in vegas traffic at 114 degrees with no problems. Oh yeah. I almost forgot 100 octain from the pump. This car is not a daily driver, it's driven mostly to some car shows and a few other places. The motor is getting forged as we speak. Even at those numbers it's never detonated even once. The car isn't built for street or drag racing, just picking on a few lambos, so it is't above 4,000 rpm that often. I know it only takes once to kill it. But Garth knows what he is doing and isn't going to help build a car only for it to blow up. Here is our dyno run.

Nope. That is the dyno sheet is from his run in the attached video. Not from sts. The sts sheet claims 548rwhp. We're at 563rwhp. We are using a turbo spec cam. Thats where the numbers are comming from. We have not added the meth kit yet but we plan to.

We installed a 67mm kit on my friend's 02 TA a few months ago. TSP LS6 heads, LS6 cam, TCI 4l60e, TCI converter, RWTD tune....
It made 560ish on 10 lbs. using pump and meth injection....could have seen more, but stock rod bolts kept us on the safe side.

Navy Blue Metalic- 2000 Z-28
Yeah im trying to save up for an sts turbo kit with the meth injection and some long tubes to go along with it. Im really excited about the idea! In the meantime im looking for one of those Geo Metro's with the 3 cylinder engines to help save money on gas! BTW nice video Spaz. You can hear that turbo all the way down the road and it sounds sweet!

Use stock ported manifolds...actually use some short headers, wrap them all the way back to turbo, turbo will spool about 800rpms faster on mine. big difference

That just doesn't seem right. You should be at 500 or so if you have supporting mods and that much boost.
I just bought a 2000 NBM SS and its making 450 at the wheels with only 5lbs of boost. Thats with a T76 turbo, LS6 intake, 65# injectors, and a ported throttle body. Unfortunately I still gotta go pick the car up from California.
You can see the info and pics and such here.
