871 on my ls1
Hey gear heads I'm working on putting an 871 supercharger on my Ls1 motor that's going in my new project A Vega Wagon. Has anybody done a roots style on a ls here looking go with efi .How much boost can I throw at a stock motor and be safe?

Welcome! Maybe 5-8 lbs. on an all stock motor without intercooling. Most guys run centrifugal type induction but a roots would be cool as hell.

File the ring? Are you referring to piston ring gap?
