6.0 heads question

hi i have a 2002 ws6 trans am with a sts turbo system
im am putting LQ9 heads on it to lower my compession, does any1 know what it will lower to? does it add or loose horse power? will my stock valve covers and rockers fit on there?

please tell all that can help?

Yes your stock valve covers and rockers will work. You will always lose hp when you lower compression. The upside to that is that you will have the option of safely running more boost and to make up for that loss.

You will probably run about 9.5 to 1

with the lower compression what boost u think it can hanldle with stock bottom end and hp, 8lbs safely? 9 lbs safley?

You'll be around 9.5-1...bottom end will take 7-8lbs of boost ...but the real question is for how long....
