    3.8 supercharger

I have a factory supercharger off of a 3.8l laying in the garage and was wondering if 1st, I could mount it on my ls1 and 2nd if it would give me any boost in power coming off a smaller motor.
I would be fabbing up a lower intake to mount it on and I know I'd need a new MAP sensor and tune
    thanks for any input

How you going to mount it backwords? The GenV superchargers off of the 3.8L engines have the TB mounted in the back.. Putting your TB and intake under your wiper baldes.. If you managed to mount it with a custom bracket, it wouldn't be long enough to even get close to your belt system. Would come up short most likely.

I was thinking a turn tube mounted on the back of the charger to bring the throttle body facing forward and to the drivers side of the motor (kinda like on the mustang cobras)

With it backwords, how would you get it belt driven?

jackshaft running along side it from front to back. ( like the maggies built for our cars)
belt running to the front of the jackshaft to spin the charger on the back of the motor.

Maybe it would be easier to sell the 3.8 piece, and get a magna, the fab work on that and the trouble may actually exceed the price of a new unit.
