probably too good to be true....
Wow. I dont believe that is a "kit". I clicked on your link and the first thing saw an intercooler there that looks to be worth $1000 by itself.
If your going to do a twin turbo setup... its going to require some big bucks and alot of work. I mean why bother setting up a kit for relatively low hp gains (remember the stock motor does have limits), with a more complicated twin turbo setup? Your going to want to make more power with all the extra work involved. Even then, I would think just a big single turbo would be better. (I know its all subjective)
Im not an expert, but I do know one of the reasons alot of ppl choose the rear mounted turbo setup is because it is WAY easier to install and half the price. (just assuming your going to get it professional installed and tuned).
The more traditional setups require alot of work removing parts making room just to work. Plus there is more heat soak with that set up so you'll probably need an intercooler and the price goes up alot more. (most non intercooled remote turbo setups use their washer fluid tank to inject methanol instead of using an intercooler)
So I would think 2 turbos are major PITA to install. You'll probably want and need an intercooler, and stronger motor setup.
Ive seen alot of BIG single turbo setups that make crazy hp numbers. Thats always good.
but I guess the traditional arguement is that 2 smaller turbos make more low-end torque, making the car more "streetable". That may be the case with smaller motors like on imports...
but having a 5.7lt v8 compensates and you can get just as good low-end performance from the rear mounted single turbo instead.
In the end you have to make sure the extra power you want, anyway you want it, is do-able within your budget and "know-how".2002 A4 Z28: SLP LM exhaust and HSW 100whp dry shot.

that would be a good way to go. Just remember to build somethin reliable it's gonna take quite a bit of cash. Me for that i would just go with an sts setup and change maybe only the vavetrain and run that sucker to the ground.

here's one of my favorites:
(which might not apply to this forced induction post)
but you got to commend the driver, after maybe only 5 seconds of watching this clip. You'll agree.

How is it the fastest street car when it has tube frames?
-

Haha! I knew someone was gonna ask that.
Here in the "People's Republic of New Jersey", if you dared drive that car on the street... you would have more cops chasing you down that OJ Simpson!
(and then get the Rodney King special)
But I bet if you changed the shell to look more like a street car (and lost the chute), you could drive it in the promised land... the land of no goverment inspection... FL!!

for some reason I thought Florida had the gov't emissions inspections... i don't know, but that is one of the reasons i hesitate to move out of Michigan. I drove around with a straight pipe and no muffler for a week straight without any problems with the law, and my car still doesn't have a cat!

Nope no inspection in FL. I had to register one of my cars there... thanks to NJs tough inspections.
You should see some of the cars barely put together driving on there road in FL. It kinda made me mad cuz why have different standards in other states if we all "share" the same air! (trust me, NJ air is nothing to write home about)
Anyway back to the topic at hand...
I've seen guys driving around with no hood their car...
It would be nice to drive around with no hood and show off a Lingenfelter twin turbo setup.
Expensive but cool.

if ya keep lookin theres a PTK "knockoff" there that would probably be a better choice. however, the turbos that come with these Ebay kits are absolute junk and wont last you 100 miles. goodluck

Wow that REALLY sucks for you. You ask somebody who grew up in central (hell, or nothern even) florida when the last time they had their car inspected and they will look at you funny. Sucks for you guys down there by Miami... I guess too many LA treehuggers moved there in the last few years...
But the rest of Florida is still the Anti-Cali. Florida --> <-- state of california
