I wish they stocked .38 ammo. Can almost always get .40 but .38 is tough to get there.

Hit or miss around here. About all stores sell ammo, only one I think has guns.

i don't think they ever stopped selling them here either...maybe they did and i didn't notice...but being central WI i don't think they ever did. i know when they moved their department location within the store a few years back they dramatically increased the amount of different ammo that they stocked.

The 3 wal marts down here stopped selling but they sold ammo.
The ammo selection sucked tho

Too bad the gun laws here don't allow for transport across state lines. I would get my permit and hit up the Wal-Mart on 611 in the Poconos for a firearm.

No doubt, issue is in NY they dont want to sell us PA boys ammo.
One thing and this is NO BULLSHIT....Wally World gets the junker 700s and yes that is a fact. They get the lower grade of the same rifle you would find in a usual gun store.
I did buy a .300 Weatherby cheap-o vanguard there once for $400 then got offered $500 for it so I sold it. lol
