Pig Sticker or Mouse Gun
Now I own a few "Pocket Pistols"...KelTec .32 and shit like that....but seriously....If all I had for choices of self defense was a Mouse Gun or one of my foldable knifes I would defend myself with my 7 inch razor sharp pig sticker versus shooting somebody with a lil bitty .32. I'll tell you this IMHO....a bad guy sees you pull out a pig sticker it changes the game pretty damn quick....carry the mouse gun also if you want.....some bad guys do bring a gun to the fight...and I know that...but if all I have is a mouse gun in my pocket and my pig sticker in my back pocket....I am reaching for the knife first.
What about you?

Knife. My son's Sensei teaches his students that be afraid of guns, but be more afraid of knives. Guns may not: shoot, they have to be aimed; the closer you are to the gun the better your chances of them missing you if you move (meaning the shooter has to move the gun more to keep it aimed at you vs you being further away needing minimal movement to keep on target). Knives on the other hand will always cut. You get into a knife fight, someone or both will be bleeding, Guarantee!
I always have a knife on me, I have one that stay's in all of my car's, in my toolbox, When I was active duty, I carried on in my boot, on my tactical vest, one on the belt, one inside the pocket of my chemical gear.

I carry a Kershaw Groove in my left front pocket
And a Sig P238 in my right pocket
7 rounds of Buffalo Bore .380 will do alot more than that lil' ol' knife.

I have a SOG Trident that I carry. still waiting for the outcome of the NJ CCW permits before I buy a handgun. Plus I have an NRA rep looking into some things I discovered. It may turn alot around in this state if what I think happened did in fact happen.

I made knives for about four years and am a huge fan of Kershaw Blurs. I have three. Strider makes some good stuff too but a little pricey.

I wouldn't own one of those pocket guns so loaded question for me. He'd see the business end of my G29 (as soon as it gets here!!!). If I were given only a mouse gun and a knife I'd probably go for the knife too unless I had a steady stream of bullets without having to reload.
Speaking of which while at Bass Pro picking up some more 10mm ammo I grabbed a box of .25 and looked at the bullets. My wife went, "aww how cute baby bullets". Even she carries a .38.

im going for my .380 first, once it is out of bullets you can always still pull the knife

I'm a big fan of Cold Steel knives.
In uniform I carry a Gunsite, Pro-Lite and Mini-Lawman.
In plainclothes, I have the Mini-Lawman.
Around the house and messing around I have the Mini-Lawman and a Spike neck knife.

why not have the best of both worlds.
Well I guess thats not a mouse gun though. Still pretty cool.
This one is from a patent web site, looks like a double barrel small caliber and a knife design.:
here you go: very mousey.
