as the title says,the wife and i went down to our shooting range,which is a 6 foot dirt bank in the woods behind our house(we live on 14 acres of mostly pine trees) shot about 40 or so rounds with my SKS,just for giggles i put a 2 litre coke bottle full of water in front of a 1 inch thick solid wood board, destroyed the bottle,round went completely through to board,and hollowed out a deep hole in the dirt bank.7.62x39mm in a powerful round!
