My first post got ate by cyber-gremlins so let's try this again.

I don't get the need for this scope. First of all, a BDC for 150 yards. Are you kidding me, Nikon? I realize this is for a .22LR, but I have a properly sighted-in Westernfield heavy barrel/beavertail stocked .22LR bolt-action that consistently shoots less than 1" at 125 yards with Remington Target blue box. Head shots on stationary squirrels are possible to about 150 yards with a slight hold over (about 3" as memory serves) but only with NO wind. Just a 10mph 3 or 9 o'clock wind will shift bullet impact by 3.5 inches, laterally, at 100 yards. At 150 yards, that deflection is closer to 6 full inches. Those adjustments are best made with a Mil-Dot reticle, and the wind adjustment is more critical than bullet drop compensation.
I guess the choice of 2-7 is okay, but 32mm? Get serious. There is no reason to have that small an objective. 40mm should be the minimum standard on any new glass series. I would much prefer a 2.5-10 X 40 (or larger) with a Mil-Dot reticle, target turrets, and an adjustable objective for parallax on any .22LR that I would attempt shots up to 150 yards with. I just don't see this scope as having much of a niche.
