Tracking Cookies?

Dont really know much about all this shit but what the hell is a tracking cookie, and is it bad for my comp. I just ran a program "SuperAntiSpyware" and it says i have 34 tracking cookies. WTF? haha anything to worry about and how do i get ride of them if there bad.

tracking cookies by themself arent a bad thing.....they track your web browser's site ..this can be either internally within a site or with general webpages..companies then take that info and decide what internet trends etc...i really am not one of those..ohh cookies are bad kind of guy........but cookies are used to store information to make web browsing quicker for frequently visited sites etc..if using firefox go to tools and then to clear all private data...you will have a list of things you can delete ..i tend to do this 1 a week at least...but remember..if you do that..then firefox looses all of its stored passwords for sites(the passwords part.)
