Alright, so not "new" as in cutting edge (Old actually), but they're not used, and it's light years ahead of what broke Plus it was cheap

Yep. Waiting until the weather warms up until I bother with that thing. At least when I do it I'll be comfortable.

    Awesome Aetos, /jealous

I like the clean setup with the hidden wires. It's hard to tell the depth from the pic, can you fit that side panel on with the wires running over that side of the inner case? Or do you just have it hidden up against a wall or desk?

That's where the tape helped out. I had to tape up all the wires flat onto the case or the side panel wouldn't go on. After lots of trials, time, and tape, the side panel went on perfect.

I've gotta replace the video card on my rig now. The GPU fan has gone out and the pickens are slim for me now as I can only run an AGP card.

I didn't (but should have) take any pictures during the build but when I did I etched into the side panel with a dremel.

I just ordered a replacement card. It's the same one since my choices are slim and other than the damn fan crapping out, it's performed very well for me. It's the PNY nVidia GeForce 7600 GS 512mb 128-bit 8x AGP. It has an HDTV out as well as DVI. One of the last best AGP cards available.

Yup, I finally donated a bunch of motherboards and cards, etc... last year. I had a virtual computer graveyard in my office closet. I have one main board left that's got an AGP slot. I know I'll never use it, but it's still 'new' or at least never been used so I kept it. For some reason, I keep stuff even when it's out dated and it just takes up space

At least now I have less then I did before

I'm just not ready to upgrade my main board yet, so I'm still on the AGP wagon. I honestly wish they wouldn't be phasing it out so much for PCI Express, but, that's just how the cookie crumbles. My system runs very well and scores pretty high on the gaming front as it sits. And Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit is great so far too. At present, i just can't run anything graphics intensive on it or the GPU would probably overheat.

    My current specs are...

    MSI K8N-Neo nForce 3 250Gb AGP 8x
    AMD Athlon 64 3400+ @ 2.40Ghz
    3Gb Corsair XMS DDR 400Mhz PC3200
Western Digital Corvair 120Gb 8mb cache internal HD
Western Digital My Passport Essential 320Gb external HD
    PNY nVidia GeForce 7600 GS 512mb 128-bit AGP 8x
    Adaptec FireConnect FireWire 1394 PCI
    SoundBlaster Audigy LS PCI
    Lian-Li PC-V1000B-PLUS
    Corsair 450VZ 450W PSU
Samsung SyncMaster TOC T240 5ms HDMI 24" widescreen LCD

It's a good thing the new motherboard I got has intergrated graphics.... it only has PCI-E for the gfx card, and I just realized the one in my desktop currently is AGP

I'm not worried though, it's not like I game at all anymore (On the computer at least) so the intergrated one should be fine for me.

Yeah, I don't ever run the on-board video. It has to share responsibilities with other devices on the main board. But you should be fine since you don't use it for gaming or graphics intensive applications.

It's actually really easy... you can get sheets of acrylic at home depot for 2 dollars to practice on.
