Help needed with oci dll error

Hello
Every time I start Internet Explorer I get this error
and the program stops responding
Can you PLEASE tell me how to stop it.

Does the error occur if you are in safe mode with networking?

Your problem is in the second line of your post: "Internet Explorer"

Firefox...download it for free and never look back.

Did you recently install a toolbar (MSN)? If so do a system recovery.....

If not, uninstall IE and reinstall it....

while i use firefox nearly exclusively..its not all that great

There is also a handy tool built in to Internet Exploder that may help.

Making the guess that you're running XP, Go to Start> All Programs> System Tools> Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

This will launch IE without any apps attached to it. If it runs that way, start disabling add-ons until you find the culprit.
