Computer question?
Setting up shared folders from my desktop to my 10.1" netbook. I can get the folders to communicate and a folder on the netbook desktop. Can't seem to get an icon on my desk top. When I right click on file there is no "send to" and therefore no shortcut to desktop command. How do I get an icon on my desktop from this folder? If I set up an icon on the desktop first without going though My Computer then can't get the two to communicate.
Both my desktop and netbook are windows 7.

Can't you just copy and paste the shortcut to your desktop in Win 7?

I've right clicked on every command in the folder but no copy/paste, send to, short cut to desktop or anything comes up. I'm at a loss how to do anything with the folder once it's made and communicating with my netbook.

What about just highlighting it and going to the 'file' or 'organize' (whatever Win7 has, I'm not familiar with it) drop down menu and copy and paste from there?

Windows is a "drag and drop" operating system...why not try that?
