    cd to mp3 software

    ive been out of it for awhile... whats the good cd ripper software out there now?

    I use audiograbber http://www.audiograbber.org/
    I've used it since it was a pay program (in the 90s). I don't think that it's been updated since ~2004. However, it works fine for me and does what I need.

    Nero 7...don't get 8 or 9...7 is the best and has the least amount of problems (if any).

    i agree... audio grabber works very well! i will also use itunes in a pinch. it works fine also.

    I used windows media player when I converted my books of cd's. Set it up so all I had to do was put the CD in the computer, it automatically ripped the audio, found the CD songlist/artist and cover art, then ejected the CD. You can choose the quality as well.

    Yeah to this. I know many of us are reflexively anti-MS but this works quite well. I also use Nero as well for ripping and especially for burning cds/dvds.
