i love srv through and through. just bought an album called LiveAlive a few weeks ago, been looking for it for a good 3 years.
i was in austin last summer for Austin City Limits and it just reeked with tributes to his music. which was beautiful since i love the blues.

good vid snag, way to lift up the day man!

now if we could get some:

snag! hey if you ever get a chance you should check out the cross roads guitar fest. it on dvd. it was a benefit concert eric clapton put on and its some of the coolest stuff ive heard in awhile. imagine....e.c, buddy guy, jimmy vaughan, robert cray all playing sweet home chicago! it happened at this concert. hell, joe walsh showed up! james taylor, jj cale, robert randolph, steve vai....

a great thing to watch, and a good bit of variety as well, but mostly its just raw blues! another good vid snag!!!!

I was watching this one vid .. It had Joe playing some blues with a guy that looked like Steve Cropper ..

thats from cross roads if joe is wearing his goofy hat and green neon shoes. nice to see him sober!!!

my old man and i were trying to figure if that was steve. hell, hes alot bigger than he used to be. but still a bad ass. it was funk 49 btw.

try to find e.c playing have you ever loved a woman at this concert. also, jimmy vaughan plays texas flood on the dvd for a hot second. very very cool.

when i was at ACL last year Ben Harper put his guitar on his lap and played voodoo chile the way stevie played it. i can tell the difference between srv and hendrix for sure! anyway, being in Austin just makes you appreciate SRV that much more IMO
