Removed cats off friend's 06 GT...
So, we removed the cats off my friend's 06 Mustang GT today and the result is the following:
2006 Mustang GT, SLP ORX, SLP loudmouths

sounds nice, i always hated how those things reved up tho upon start up, my neighbor's GT did the same thing, idled up for like 10 seconds, kinda wierd

SLP loudmouths FTL not a fan of that catback at all, but if your looking for the most free-flowing, i guess that's the choice

It does sound like crap, small displacement v-8 ftl.

needs to get flowmasters, may be a little more restrictive but as a mustang owner i can tell u nothing sounds better than flowmasters w/out cats on stangs

As long as he likes it, thats all that matters. But I think it sounds awful. Exactly why I'd never put SLP exhaust on my car. Mustangs need chambered mufflers ie flowmasters, spintechs, mac flowpaths, pypes
