Our latest airshow in Cali, video inside
This is our October 2, 2009 AV-8B Harrier demonstration airshow in MCAS Miramar, California. This is one of the jets that I personally work on, aircraft 20 which is a "night attack" coming from my squadron, VMA-211 "Wake Island Avengers". Hope you enjoy, if you have any questions, just post up and I'll be happy to answer. If you have never seen this in person, I recommend going to one the next time one is close by.

Nice video. I was there at the Miramar air show with my kids. Always enjoy watching those AV-8 aircraft and their ability to hover. Good job!!!

I believe MCAS New River has some, I see them fly over the house quite often. I'm not but about 20 minutes from there. I see those, Ospreys, and a bunch of other stuff as well. I live not far from Seymour-Johnson AFB (hehehe), Camp Geiger, Camp Lejune, MCAS New River, Pope AFB, and Montford Point. MCAS Cherry Point is a little over an hour from the house as well.

Yea, they probably fly around New River as well. But their man base besides Yuma, is Cherry Point. Anyways, they are cool to watch. Check out a show the next time you can

We got one at the Quad City Airshow this year, was back in June 20th. They said it is really really hard to get. The funny thing is, there was an acrobatic helicopter display going on when they started the thing up because it was next, and everyone turned and started watching it, even though all it was doing was taxi'ing. Can't imagine being right next to it as they take off, things are loud as hell.
Considering there aren't a lot of them, you probably worked on that one also... Here is a pic. No serial on it. Just WL on the tale, and either 07 or 87 on nose.

Nice, everyone just watching it taxi, lol. They are really loud. Its was fun when we deployed because we were on a boat so when they took off and did the hover landing, we we right next to them. I mean like maybe 20ft from them, makes it hard to stand up, lol. Kind of an adrenalin rush.
Did you post up a pic? If so, I cant see it
