Black 2002 Formula M6- SOLD on 11/21/2009
My 2002 Firebird LS1, 6spd on You Tube
I drove and shifted with one hand and held my video camera with my other. This was the first time I used my video camera and the entire video from this drive was 18 minutes which I edited it down to approx 5 minutes so I could share it here with others and on You Tube. First time using camera so that is why the edit is not very professional. And also the very first time I attempted to edit a video on my computer using windows movie maker . I'm an ametuer at video but hope to learn and get better.
I hope you can see and hear the video. Any and all comments welcomed.

Black 2002 Formula M6- SOLD on 11/21/2009
Hi,
I purchased the car in January from the original owner. It is showroom and only has 33k original miles. The only reason he sold it to me is he had ordered a new 2007 Vette which was built and shipped in late December..
The exhaust is a SLP Loudmouth along with a SLP Y-pipe. It sounds so awesome and it is loud but a nice loud. A local police officer who was at a 7-11 when I pulled in told me after asking about the car that it sounded bad cause it was bad and not trying to sound bad like so many cars today....he told me he was a former drag racer and loved the sound of it....Gotta love that -)
Other things the original owner had done to it:
Subframe Connectors
Strut tower brace
Cold air induction, Blackwing lid and filter, smooth bellows, 85mm mass air ( all SLP)
Baer eradispeed rotors with factory pads
Spec stage 3 hybrid clutch with Fidanza flywheel ( not sure of all the spelling)
He took exceptional care of the car. It truly looks and drives like new.
I am very lucky to have caught him right when his new Vette was about to arrive. I'm a middle-aged guy and when I was younger was very much into fast cars. Now that I am older I wanted to buy one of the real throw-back older true American muscle cars with very low mileage and that wasn't beat and abused....Either a Camaro or Firebird and found this Firebird and bought it. Hope to keep it forever.

LOL..I dind't even think of that one Yeah, I am in a very rural area near the eastern end of Long Island...Paradise I call it....Farms, vineyards and most of all, have the Atlantic Ocean just south of me, The Long Island Sound just north of me ( the sound was like right behind me when my video starts) and the Great Peconic Bay in between....The only direction one can really go without hitting large bodies of water is west and just 60 miles west from me is Manhattan...Love it!!
But yea, BFE it is...LOL
( I am going to try an upload a couple of pics of the Long Island Sound which is just minutes from me. The sound separates Long Island from the State of CT.)
ThanksLast edited by Sailor; 03-31-2007 at 03:05 PM.

Open Road
Great job on the video. Came across a similiar low milage car last year & I also enjoy finding the open roads.
Anyone have some input for me...........
Just received my Ram stage IV clutch set in the mail. Is changing out the flywheel a must or can I just send my stock unit to the machine shop?
