He had just arrived from Kuwait. Its a 500+km drive from Kuwait to Bahrain so most of the guys cover the front and mirrors with dish washing liquid in order to protect the front bumper and mirrors from stone chips.
When the soap dries up it turns into a thick wax coat, when they get here they just wash it off.
