    white rpm wire

On my 2002 WS6, I have 3 white wires connected to the pcm. They are in order from left to right. Am I correct in assuming that the far left (closest to the outside of the car) wire is the correct rpm wire?

I'm an wiring virgin. I read this in the the instructions. Here's the problem, when looking at the wiring harness, All the wires from the bottom pcm connections plug in with a red end. When counting the little holes from the left to the right. Holes number 10 seem to line up with the white wire in the middle. Is this what you're referring to, or is there something different?

I'm out of town so can't look at my car so this is from memory but I've got an 02 WS6 and had mine apart last weekend. There are two PCM connectors - one red and one blue. The red should be the one toward the front of the vehicle (blue connector behind it closer to the firewall). The pin numbering starts from the outside (passenger side) and at the back of the red connector. So #1 on the RED connector is the pin closest to the firewall on the outside (passenger side) of the vehicle. The pin numbering increases on that side and continues increasing back down the other side of the connector. Hope this makes sense but short answer is count pins - you should be at pin #10 on the red connector.

I got it. I counted the pins and checked it against my friends car. It's the middle wire.
