Volant intake questions....new to the site

Do the Volant intake systems for the camaro ls1 come with the two big air filters like the firebird ones? Or is it just 1 big filter. Thanks

LM2 is quieter than LM1. LM1 is extremely loud and most would only recommend this system with stock exhaust manifolds and cats. After headers and an ORY it gets real raspy. And the Camaro Volant is one big cone, but people make the Pontiac fit on camaros.

Also, try the search, most stuff can be found by looking through the site.

to me, is the best bang for the buck. i like borla but its like 900 for a catback. i will never pay that much. ive heard alot of videos of the LM2 and it sound amazing. what kind do you have?

For the time being my exhaust is pretty much stock. Within the next few months i am hoping to go to a full hooker exhaust (headers, ORY, and Catback). I think this system sounds amazing and the muffler is not expensive compared to other brands. Just look up LS1 full hooker exhaust on youtube. I just personally dislike the LM system because of rasp, it has no tone IMO. My opinion is if you want inexpensive and loud go with a cutout or cut the muffler off. Sorry if i went on and on.

If you like the LM2 setup, by all means go with what you like.

I have a a LM2 on my 2000 z28 with stock manifolds and cats, sounds great now, but since I know I plan on putting some LTs and a new Y on at some point I chose the LM2 since I've heard the LM1 is too raspy with LTs and a Y.

Maybe its just me, LM2 is probably better i guess when it comes to rasp.
