NX intake, NXL DP system, 85MM TB
just got it in today. normally, this kit would have nozzles that go under the fuel injector. i got their LS intake that has the ports drilled into the intake for the nitrous and fuel.
the intake
here's a close up of where the nitrous lines will go to just like if you had a nozzle.
here's what it looks like inside the injector hole where the nitrous and fuel will come out
the underside of the intake has a 1/4" thick aluminum plate
inside the intake
the NXL direct port kit replaces the factory LS intake fuel rails. this way, it pulls fuel right off the rails
the fuel accumulator. this helps with the initial hit of the system.

IT'S A GREAT SET-UP!!! WAIT TILL YOU FEEL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE INTIAL HIT OUT THE GATE!!!! EVEN WITH 100 HP JETS I BEAT YOU'LL RUN THE SAME ET'S AS WITH 175 JETS ON THE OLD UNIT.
Josh had me try out some some passes like that and I was amased!!!

accumulator - 200.00
total 2725.00
a little less because with the intake, you don't need the NXL nozzles that would come with the NXL kit if you bought it complete.

sweet setup! I got the nxl kit sitting in the old garage sort of waiting on some help to put it on. any suggestions on: whether stock fuel pump and stock injectors will work for now? and since i put the LT's ORY, FAST 90 Intake and 90 TB I haven't had it tuned? good-bad?

i've had the stock fuel pump up to 482 rwhp on a 150 shot. that was on the wife's car with heads, cam, the works. did you get the accumulator as well?

the accumulator is there to make up for the initial hit of the NXL system. most have experienced the vehicle nosing over on the inital activation due to the sudden pull on the fuel rails. once the fuel pump refills the rails, then it's fine. we are talking about less than a half second delay. only way to find out is install it and see if the nose over is bad enough to warrant one.

OK thanks Im just wanting to get back into a trans am as soon as I get out of basic. I was looking at that setup when I had my first trans am. Can you give me any feedback on it?

the only feedback i can give you at this time is all the pieces are of really high quality. only minor things are i had to modify the fuel rail brackets and grin down the access plate to clear the LS6 valley cover where the PCV hose barb comes out at.
