nitrous vs stock stall

i have a 01 ss a4 with lts, ory, catback, p&p tb, and a lid. My best time right now is a 13.2 with a 2.2 60. for christmas im getting lower control arms, relocation kit, and panhand bar. I've really been thinking about getting some nitrous. I want to start with a 75 but like everyone else problary going to end with a 150. My question is could i keep my stock stall?? Im only going to be spraying on the track and i only go to the track maybe once every 3 or 4 months. im a complete noob when it comes to nitrous because ive always said i would never use it but lately ive been reading and im starting to change my mind so any other help you guys can give would be appricated.

Sure, you can keep you stock converter. I did this last year b/c I knew my tranny was going to go. I had 4.10 gears, headers, and tune and ran an 11.7. I am using a dry nitrous kit so I can spray it off idle. This year I had a new tranny and a vig3600 and ran an 11.3 with basically the same setup, but with less traction.

i run nitrous on my big heavy truck with a stock stall...it'll make your 60' better

i've used 150 on a stock stall many times. been 11.97 @ 117 all stock at that time. with as little use as you say you are going to be using, the converter will hold up fine.
