Nitrous... does it go bad?

Yeah, just as the title says. A close friend of mine was talking about his car, and he has had a filled 10 lb. bottle for rougly 9 years, and is concerned that maybe the nitrous goes bad? I told him I had no clue, but could try to find out. Any of you have an idea?

I don;t think it does....unless it gets contaminated or was just stored for an extremly long time years and year i think it was last a looooooong time

No....as long as your under pressure you dont run the chance of moisture in the bottle....biggest issue with nitrous is the fill station you use...so many fill stations do not use the proper pumps to fill and you end up with 50% air and 50% nitrous and boy can you feel it ....

Very true Sarge that's why we prefer the cyphen method......

We freez your empty bottle then hook it directly to our 60lb bottle and gravity does the work for us!!!=

NO AIR OR MOISTURE FROM COMPRESSOR.

As long as it has been sealed all this time and has pressure....If your worried I'm sure some import faggot will take the bottle and use it to cruise and purge on everybody since half of them only have a purge kit and not a "real" unit.
