wuz up guys i am looking for advice on my 2000 camaro SS with 70k on it

the thing is my friend wants to sell me his NITrous Express set up that he had which comes with the 50,100,150 jet the purge kit and the lines plus bottle and switch and it is a wet shot
i know i can throw it on but should i get a tune ??
i have Long tube headers, slp intake, cat delete, underdrive pulley stock tune, stage two clutch with lightened flywheel.

If you have to ask if it's safe, you shouldn't be doing it.....
As my fathers words poor directly out of my mouth...what is happening to me?!?!?!

I'd say a 125 shot or 100.

For sure I am going with the wet shot and most likely I will be putting on the 100 shot first get a tune and see how it runs they will fix my timing and evrything when I get a tune right?
The fuel pressure switch would turn off nos if the fuel pressure is to low automatically ??

It is wise to upgrade the fuel pump for a 150 shot. And if I were going to put nitrous on it I wouldn't bother spraying less then a 150 shot. The motor will take it fine. But I would pull a little timing out to be safe. Extra fuel is not a safe way to handle too much timing.

Stick with a 100 shot. If you go further, yeah upgrade the pump and get a A/F guage as well along with all the safety stuff.

Call nitrous express or NOS they will usually coach you through the safeties and support equipment? I got a Nitrous Express NXL wet kit on mine running 180 shot and it does fine. My car has 71k on it. I did upgrade the fuel pump, fire&ice bottle pressure regulator, MSD digital window switch and a tune from Blue Cat in KY. Call James at KY speed he's a great guy and they will shoot ya straight.
finally 551 RWHP!!!!

Im gonna do nitrous wet system on mine as well. The only mods im gonna do to it is spark plugs, tune, nitrous, bottle heater and start with 100 shot. On the dyno i will move it up from that amount when i know A/F is safe go to 125 and then 150 checking A/F the whole time like i did with my 93Z. Good thing about wet system you have room to play with a smaller or bigger fuel jet. I would without a doubt get a tune with nitrous, simply not worth the risk and youll have some peace of mind. The bottle heater ive found to be a must since bottle pressure is key to how well your using each shot of nitrous and so on. There are better stuff out there that hold bottle pressure without heat but im gonna use what worked best for me in the past.

Yeah bottle pressure is critical with nitrous. a friend of mine said all you need is a propane torch to heat the bottle? WTF yeah and blow ur self the hell up? no thanks. Good luck with the install man hope it runs like a raped ape!!!
