Looking for refill shops, NW Illinois?

Anyone have a suggestion for a good refill shop in NW Illinois? My HSW kit arrives this Thursday.

I am also looking for a refill shop around Rockford Illinois
I found a place in Sterling that fills them but it costs $50 no matter what size.

Are there any drawbacks to using welding shop sourced nitrous?? I assume its the same stuff, but who knows.

nope just tell them its for a car. I have used welding shop nitrous a few times when I was out and couldnt find a good speed shop. I think the only difference is the method to fill the bottle.

Any idea what they charge for a 10# bottle? That and they're 1hr+ from my house

    Here's their info:
4425 Charles St, Rockford, IL 61108 (Hot Rod Shop Ltd)
    (815) 227-5424

$36 to fill a totally empty 10# bottle! Not too shabby!
