How much spray should i run?
Ok so i have a 3000 stalled a4, LT's, cutout, and i have a nos wet kit "plate" coming, its jetted to a 150 shot. My plan was is to get a tune just for the bolt ons and add a 100 shot on there. Or i can spend the $50 more and get a "better tune" pull timing and add a 150 shot. Im just afraid a 150 will break something alot faster than a 100 will. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Do you still have the stock fuel pump? I would go ahead and tune it for the 150. Btw, I bought a timing module off of Frost that allows you to run full timing then retards it whenever youre on nitrous. I spray a 175 shot on my daily driver, and have never had any problems with it at all.

The stock fuel pump is the main thing that worries me with the 150 shot.

What kind of kit are you talking about? Not all kits are rated the same. Some are rated at the fly, others are rated at the wheels. Be careful with that, some kits say 150 shot but is really 125 at the wheels. I'll probably end up going with a NX kit since it's rated at the wheels.

I've sprayed 150 shot for over 12,000 miles with stock fuel pump, tranny and rear. Upgraded everything when the tranny eventually gave up the ghost.
When I was stock I lost 2 intakes so beware. I wouldn't personally go past 100 shot all stock, but if you're anything like me...you'll want more all the time as it becomes very addictive.

A friend of mine bought a T/A back in about 2002 and put a 150 shot on it with the stock fuel pump and bolt ons. It ran this way ever since and is still running today. It has had a few rearends in it but that was after he sold it in 2008 The car has been running mid 11's most of it's life with trap speeds around 120mph.

The 5.7 is alot of motor so 150 shot is not really a big deal. You should have a custom tune tho or at least a tuning program of some sort. The only issue I'd have with that big a shot is on the wet kit if your fuel is cut off somehow, instant rolling chass. An upgraded fuel pump or bigger injectors couldn't hurt like others have said.
