Gearing question for the solid roller guys

For those of you running a solid roller setup with a high revving cam (4700-8000 power band), TH400, and running a larger shot (250, 300+) what gear do you use? Currently have 3.70s in my FAB9 with a 5,200 stall. I'm debating switching to 4.11s..thinking 4.30s will be too steep for the spray.

    Thanks

What RPM are you going through the traps at now with the 3.70's ???
I have the 4.10's with a 4600 stall, and hitting 7100 at the traps, but I'm considering 3.90's when I add my 2'nd stage... I have other Buddy's that stepped back to the 3.70's...

I'm going to making my first passes with this setup over the next couple of weeks. I'm not changing anything until I see what I trap at. The rev limiter is set at 8k and I'll be shifting roughly 75-7600. 28 inch tire as well.

I'm still running the 4l60e, built up.. I don't have the manual valve body, so I program the the shift points.

    Yep, M/T DR's ... 28" ( 275/60-15 )
I believe that's the tallest tire you will fit. Moser 12 bolt, with the LCA relocation brackets, extreme duty torque arm, anti-roll bar...

I currently have 325/50/15s but might switch to 315/60/15s if I change gears

Here's a handy link for tire sizes.

The 315/60-15 looks to be a 30'' tire... I'd say, to tall.

You're gonna need to stay with the 3.70's... guess you got it tuned?

Yea you're right. I talked to a couple people today about it. 30" is going to be too much.
