Easy low cost nitrous system?
Any suggestions for a basic nitrous setup.
No mods, 82k, 00 SS M6. 99% easy driving commute car (I average 24mpg).
2 times at track last was 13.999 with touring tires
Time for some more power but no raise for 2 years. what is the shade tree way to nitrous heaven? I am handy so should be able to do myself.
Thanks for help or link to past thread etc.

I would check out harrisspeedworks.com
Prices are great and if you have any questions what so ever they will hook you up.
Make sure you pick up a window switch.
What are your ultimate goals? Hp and what is your budget?
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

We would really need to know your budget but like sunset said you should also invest in a window switch since you have a manual. without one missing a shift or you clutch giving out could be fatal to your engine. also you are going to want a fuel pressure safety switch to make sure you don't lean out. I have one and it saved me in the past. I wondered why my spray cut out and found out my fuel filter was getting clogged. Had I not had the FPSS I woulda had some issues.. Also if you aren't wanting over a hundred shot then buying a dry kit should save you some money but over that the I would invest in a wet kit just to be on the safe side

Just to have fun. I work for GM powertrain and few get a chance to test out mods since we are all about making something go 150-200K with no issues for normal driving. They need a little walk on the dark side. Gotten a few to go to track including myself the last couple years. Slowly the spider weaves its web.
I hope the total would be $500 max. could be used, dry sounds safer and cheaper for my teething experience.
Seems like a easy way to have some fun and keep car moding alive. My main project right now is fixind som 95 year old wood spoke wheels on a 1912 Brush antique car I have, maybe 10hp and 25mph max with no wind.
How much HP increase for totally stock with a 75 dry shot assuming fuel pump is OK etc? Must be fun.
Thanks for any help,

depends on the company.. theoretically it is 75 horse gain on stock engine. now you just have to find out if they rate at the wheels or the crank.. read mrr23s testing post for more info.. its at the top of this page
Alright... I'm starting it now. Try not to piss yourself.
