    diablo tuner and 150 shot

    been sprayin with a 100 shot on my car: long tubes, exhaust, 255 fuel pump, a step down colder plugs, with the NX MAF kit on as far as i know a factory tune, does great. i want to run a 150 shot and i just installed the diablo sport tuner, how much should i retard the timing? and should it be more than usual to compensate for the tuner, because dont most tuners advance the timing by a good bit? also how much should i increase the power enrichment?

    I'd say keep your timing around 20* MAX @ WOT. I run my stock timing tables with my 150 shot and it does AOK. RARE to get any KR.

    well i havent messed with the tuner hardly at all. how and where do i check in it to see if it is around 20*? but should i reload my factory tune with little or no mod to the timing, or will i need to reatard the timing a little more with the diablo tune?

    Like I said, I run my stock timing tables without problems. I have a few other things done to my N2O tune, but they really aren't performance related - like !CAGS, !Slimiter, fan changes, PE mode delay, etc...

    As for how to check anything with the Diablo, I can't help there. I use HPT.

    No, you don't advance the timing for Nitrous. 2*-4* retard for a 150 shot. I assume since you have a diablo, you don't have access to HPt or EFi ?? you could track KR which would tell you what's going on in the first place. If you're already logging KR, you have a couple other issues. You may need to retard a little more and also richen the tables.
