can i leave the bottle valve open all night waiting for a race?

what im saying is the valve on the bottle. is it safe to leave on for a while waiting for a race (street) or when RED light comes jump out of my car and turn the valve open. and 2nd question... if valve is open and dont end up racing do i have to purge it all out after turning off or just leave it in the lines for next use.(maybe almost a week)?

How about you just buy a remote bottle opener??? I'm not sure on the whole purge thing...but my guess would be yes...you want to get that shit out of your lines.

Ive kept my bottle on for a long period of time on a firday or saturday night cruising the stip a few times... Everytime I turn my bottle off I always give it a little shot and take some pressure out of the line.Especially if its gonna be a while before I use it again.

Your fine leaving it open as long as your bottle pressures are at a safe level.
And purging is NOT a must. It is like back pressure everybody has there own logic on that issue. The solenoid is made to see pressure so it shouldn't cause any damage.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

I prefer not to have my solenoids see 1000 psi all the time. I have a remote bottle opener. And I purge it out at night.

I was under the impression that keeping pressure against the solenoid over a long period was a bad thing but some of these posts here prove otherwise.

What if a leak should develop and fill the intake slowly or even suddenly; especially with the engine off?

the intake is not sealed... so it would just escape via the same path as air goes into the engine.

It's better to leave it off until you need it but you are not going to hurt anything if you do leave it open. A lot of my customers do it and they are fine.

well if you don't want to drop the $$ on a remote opener or remote pressure gauge.....check out my setup, open and close when you want and check the pressure all from the drivers seat. Not to mention dropping 35lbs and adding HP. It only takes 10min to remove the front seat.

Redmetal that is the ultimate "badguy" setup. I friggin love it!. My cts v would not fit the bill for that setup but yours is badass. I got a more door for the car seat factor. LOL.

I just had my NOS installed, and would like to add the remote valve and purge system. Do you offer this and can I add it to my system?
