3.8 When GM first introduced the 4th Gen Camaro there were 2 motors available; the 3.4L L26 and the 5.7L LT1. This was used in 1993, 1994, and 1995. 1995 was also the year the 3.8L L36 was introduced, the only year with all three. In 1996 and 1997 the two motor options were the L36 and the LT1. Starting in 1998 GM made some appearance changes to the F-body and Replaced the LT1 with the LS1, but kept the L36 as the V6 option.
