Raced a 3000GT VR-4 TT

Spyders are very heavy for obvious reasons especially the vr-4 spyders... they are hardtop and require ALOT more parts to make the top work. However they are damn quick still for being a great deal heavier. I'd imagine a Trans Am vert would be heavier than a hard top? Maybe not... I wouldn't know honestly but there's fast spyders out there too... they just sit in garages most the time.

Ill race him again, ive got no problem with that, but ill also not take him saying he was inching away, he may have inched when i went from 1st to 2nd but past that if your gona say you shut down and give up when i was itching to grab for 3rd and keep going, then it wasnt really a race and you gave up? The other night you weren't claiming you could beat the car either? And to the guy whos talking about launching? I didnt know me easing out of 1st and dropping the hammer after that is really launching? Now if he shut down after he got in 3rd gear doing 50? Then thats not really a race and if he wants to go again ive got no problem with that, i havent really been driving the car that incredibly hard since ive replaced the radiator and have been slightly worried about it over heating, but since it seems to be fixed now ive got no problem going balls to the wall again if hes not gona shut down before i can get to 3rd again?

It is funny how this can get to two pages in the time it takes me to sleep and go to work and come home.

And if you wana call BS then call it to my face not online with what 3 other guys posting behind you? You dont see 4 of us from LS1 posting on your boards?

I shut down once I got into 3rd because that was 80mph in a 45 zone, lol

Cuz we just met and honestly I didn't waste you, I was only slowly pulling, I wasn't going to stand there and rub it in to your face that you lost, lol. It was relatively close if you ask me.

Yes, it's ironic a v6 vs. v8 once of which is faster and apparently weighs so much more that it can't keep up...

If your gona put it that way, twin turbo my car and see if you can tell a difference. You cant compare it like that with a NA car running a boosted car, 2 cylinders dont= Forced Induction equally. Other wise the result would be as drastic as me racing a NA V6.

off topic but i think a vr4 weighs more than a convertible ta and a spyder is about 400 lbs more than a vr4(convertible hard top vrs rag top). fast cars though, i drive them at work sometimes.

one of my best friends is shoving a ls1 in an 88 starion.... the other one he had 4 cyl turbo with a boost controler up to 14psi was doing mid 14s all day... cool cars...
