allright i got my new 01 slp ss m6,all slp options including lm1 exhaust from the factory , completely stock except pro 5.0 shifter

now the story

i ran my old 01 m6 z-28, which i installed lca's, torque arm,slp cold air kit,4.10 gears and nitto 555 d/r's

from a 30 roll the cars were almost dead even for 3 runs which i think is crazy with the gears in the z-28

i dont know maybe im a better driver but i know he was driving the shit out of it and i cant believe my stock ss will run with it

oh well i guess that is good for me but i just figured those mods would have gotten me a little more out of that old z-28

with those 4.10s in the Z and assuming you have the stock 3.42s in the SS it has to be driver error on his part or tires if you "kill" him outta the hole.

driver mod is all i can think because he has the better tires

i havent raced him out of the hole but i have more experience launching a m6
