I have 14 inch tires and looking at increasing to 15 inch.
also looking at going from 70R to 60R?
Is this Ok to do? or will I regret it?

for better cornering, you want a short sidewall. 14" doesn't give you much choice in that area. 15", 16", 17" etc... give you more choices. the downside is you feel more of the road irregularities.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

Most people prefer the 16x10s over the 17x11s for performance reasons... not only one gets more sidewall to make the tire work, but also reduce weight on rotation, which is a blessing.
Good luck.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

I run 275 40 17 on front and back. it works good for handling. remember that our cars weigh a ton more than an F1 car so side wall flex is a real problem

Additionally if you look at the construction of tires for high end race cars like nascar you see that they are limited to 15 inch rims and have large sidewall. The reason for this is that they are run flat tires. basically they have a tire inside of a tire so that they can minimize crashes due to a flat.
