My O2 is go to the track and find out!!
Its a Drivers race from any stand point.
Its MOSTLY about the Air condions, Temps, Elevation ETC!!
On a 70 Degree night I pick up a tenth at the Track compared to a 90 Degree night!! Track times are never consistent. Im sure a STI has been 12's Stock, But I bet it was a Cold night and the air was good.

I think thats pretty high...
Check out this video of a catback LS1 GTO vs an STI, definitely no 110MPH...
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/0...-STi_23998.htm
I'd say more like 50MPH.

Black- 1999 Camaro Z28
If you can launch your car well don't be scared. When i first learned to launch my WS6 I would get owned by Evo's/STI's. Eventually I could launch hard and put my 352 rwhp to the ground and I would run right with them. AWD helps. It's great for launching but if you get a stall or learn to launch a M6 well. Its on.

Well I have no real clue how to launch my M6 without traction control so I'm probably fucked until I learn.

Haha no he has a TL though which he thinks is faster than my camaro. He told me if he wanted something with raw power he'd get an STI. I told him mine was STILL faster than that and thats how it happened.

It's actually tough to say how hard the 08 STI really can hit so far. It has a driver controlled center dif, with the new SI drive (think of it as driver controlled engine management) and a nasty traction control that it never had before. Ive had the fortune of driving one on Moroso Raceway and they do hit peak torque lower, pushing you in the seat a little harder. I'd still say stock for stock it's a drivers race. But the STI is working valiantly to close the gap.

from a roll you'll kill em, and from the line a non pro driver you'll catch him real quick tell em to shut his mouth and race.

Okay, so can somebody tell me what a new STI really runs in the quarter-mile...like how fast has one been in stock form, versus the average times most drivers see with them?
