first impression was, hell this is a lot nicer then my 74, and faster to boot,

my 74 ran 14.3 spinning before the last motor, my 99 ran a 13.6 show room floor stock with 110k miles on it. 13.1 with lid cat back and gears. at 155k miles.

and my old car could only go fast around town , my 99 seemed like a rolls royce comparing the two lol. my 99 was my second car my old camaro was my first., my 02 was my third, and a civic and ranger or two on the side for dailys

always wanted one so i finally could afford it... so my dads test driving it and at 30 he suffs it and breaks em loose.... then he like no wonder u wanted this thing... ur gunna get in so much trouble...lol sold....

Well I drove it and I was amazed at the power it had vs my Honda Prelude. I loved it! I was too scared to push it when I first got it.

1st impression was "Why did I wait so long to get one?"

FYI: I had a 96 Z28 vert with 50,xxx on the clock and wanted an LS1. Almost bought a new one in 2003 (2 new ones left on the lot) but ended up buying a house. Found the 02 in Apr 05 with 29,xxx on it. Traded the 96 + $7k for the 02. I miss the vert but I haven't looked back (much - it was a convertible after all).
