    2007 Z06

Sorry guys...in reference to my earlier post I raced an S281, not S351. Big diff. I know, but I dont do instant recall on the various Saleen and Roush one-offs.

Looking at the above trap speeds, 120-122 will pull the Z06 on the big end. Down low I think we have to give the nod to the Z06. At the end of the 1/4 the S351 would probably just be pulling up to the Z and on its way to passing it. At what point does the aerodynamic advantage of the Z (and perhaps gearing) even it back out on the even bigger end?

Pure conjecture really - and a driver's race!

Bone stock, the 2004 ZO6 pulled off an eleven second pass. Until I read about an S351 running just as fast (from a reputable source), I will continue siding with the Chevy (in reference to who will pull on who).
Yep, I would usually say the zo6 for the win as well but the s351 is a bad ass car.

Uhhh no, thats like saying if you drop an LS6 in a truck it will run 3.8 0-60... The Z06 wieghs about 300lbs less than a T/A and I believe has different rear end gears.

I would say the zo6's weigh more around 400 pounds less.

3150? damn what a pig. I thought they were lighter. Or is it the c6's that are lighter?

3116 for the C6 Z06. Depending on fuel level (factory measures it full), C5 is ~3130.

I still need to get mine to a truck stop scale, but I have heavy chromies on...

cool, I always thought they were in the 3000-3100 range. After this year, I hope to get some nice high qualty racing seats and an aluminum K member. Hopefully that will put me under or right on 3000 pounds.

A pig? Those are featherweights. My GN is probably approaching 3700 lbs with me in it. I don't mind because it makes a ton of torque and leaps like a rabbit. I will never be that light with a full frame car.
