Got a Ricer!
Races are so rare these days... I was driving to work on the feeder at 530 am this morning and a little ricer pulled up behind me at a light. I showed him my ~5 sec or a little less 0-60 by feathering the throttle and then flooring it when traction caught on and I guess he decided he wanted to see it run so when he caught up to me he was at WOT (or should I say he had his weed wacker motor at full throttle with the fart can stinkin up the road behind him?) and I let him go by me by about a car or so before I punched it, by the time my car took off he had about 2 cars or maybe 1.5 and we were going around 60, he was probably going like 75 or so. Anyway, long story short: I put 3 cars on him by 100 and he turned off.
I'm always hating on ricers so when time comes to actually race one, it's pretty scary because if they win I'll have to like crush my car or something. (NOT). I know there's fast cars out there but if I ever lose to a civic it'll be very depressing.

well there are some pretty good built civics but the chances of running into them are slim.

fun kill lol.........I had a big bad v6 accord run up on my bumper the other morning. Every time I put several cars on him and then slowed down here he would come again. I finally just let the idiot pass me

LOL! Yeah, do those guys think they might win this time or what? I bet they get one helluva kick out of an instant replay on TV! This was all of my 3rd street race since I bought the car so I wanted to post it anyway, and I felt like the ricecar was pretty quick for a ricer.

Good job! And, can someone explain to me what they are thinking when they do a "fly by"?
'01 BMW 330ci: Race it in a modified class in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA endurance races.
'04 Lincoln LS V8 Sport: Stock.
'04 Mustang Cobra coupe (white/gray): Modified.

Great kill... I say thank God for the ricers, I love 'em. Theres nothing like seeing a dented up 87 civic h/b with a huge muffler thats not properly attached, a poorly lined up dragon decal, and a crooked $12 spoiler try to do a ricer flyby.
Seriously though, watch out for the ones where the body kit actually matches the rest of the paint, theres a 5% chance it'll kick your ass on the low end.
