More kills, 04Cobra, SRT4

Was on the freeway cumin back home from a car show about a week ago out of nowere an Srt neon and a Cobra line up next 2 me they do the 3 honks n we punch it i killed the SRT, but couldnt shake the cobra till about 120, got him by about a car.

That would be awesome for an actual eye witness to this questionable story.

I understand anything can happen, but come on a roll race, how much skill is really needed for a Cobra (Termi) to take an LS1 to 120?

There is becoming too many termi sack huggers on this site for my taste. I guess when one guy gets it handed to him, he'll never believe someone else could do what he couldn't.

And to the comment above, short shifting and/or missed-shifts can easily cause the more powerful car to lose a roll race.

Hah, no. I'm veeery lightly modded (only 270/310). I was just wanting to get more information to try and find out who it was.

True-- but how come most the termi drivers seem to be uncabable of successfully using the power their cars provide.

PS. He may very well have won. I have no idea. And BTW, I nut swing on no car (not even my own)--

+1..........people act like the 03-04 cobra has a auto pilot button the driver can hit to beat the LS1's

Im from San Jose, but the race was actually on 101 in Freemont, i was on my way home. It was a black SRT, the Cobra was white.

Never lost to a Cobra, modded stang or any SRT8 raced the Charger and 300C, dnt think to highly of the Cobra just cuz its supercharged, remember they only are about .4 faster in a 1/4mile and weigh about 200lb more then our WS6 and just have like 30 or 40 more hp. With a few mods u should be able to beat them. have u raced one yet??

true-- but finding a stock cobra is probably pretty rare. Usually, CAI, full exhaust, pullie and a tune are the basic upgrades that almost all the owners do on these cars.

-- but you could argue that same thing for the LS1. I suppose.

Yea its true but remember i didnt kill the Cobra i barely got him by a car!
