slaughter of a civic

First off, in my defense, i know that beating up on civics is nothing to brag about. Now, on to the story.

I have been cruising around town for about 30 minutes, talking with my two buddies. It was mostly cruising around and picking up some ladies. Then we were in a left turn lane at some lights (2 car from light) and a civic pulls up beside us (its an intersection with a double left turning lane). there are two guys in the front, and two girls in the back. both of hte guys are staring over at the sleek black SS beside them, i look over and smirk. the guy didnt role down his window, but his friend was clearing egging him on.

light turns green, he is on inside lane, and goes, i swing out to the farthest lane, which was open, i wait for him to pull up and have an open lane, he punches it, i give him a few car lengths and drop the pedal. we hit it at about...20mph and i cut it off at about 70mph, for the next red. but i had about 10 cars on him. he pulls up at the light and wants some more (maybe he thought he would have better luck from a dig). i wanted to show off for the ladies in his car, so when hte light turns green, i pull off a real nice burnout.

then when my wheels finally catch he was through the intersection, and i blow by him again, i shut it down at about 110mph, there was a gap so big he had disappeared in my rearview mirror. it was funny.

it made my night, i beat him once, and he wanted a re-match. it gave my buddies one helluva laugh.

After that i also found a chrysler 300, but it wasnt a hemi, and i dusted him when he tried to race. overall, good night in terms of ladies, but couldnt find any decent cars for a race.

its mostly the idiots who run them. one of my friends runs a civic with a turbo and many engine mods. nothing done to the exterior except drag tires. he runs mid 12's. When you give the right person any car they can make it great.

yeah you can make anything fast if you try hard enough. but if you mod a civic, you cant mod out the fact it's just a fuckin civic.

The only way ill race a civic is if i know for a fact they are in the twelves if not i wouldnt even consider looking at them.

Well, It doesn't take much to make a Civic Highly Modded. For the Price of a set of Ls1 heads 1500$ a Civic can get a Nice turbo setup, and that will put them running with a Stock F-Body. You gotta consider the fact that everything on a Honda Is 1/4 the price of a GM part. So they can do Alot of mods to our Not many mods at all for the same price.

agreed. and sorry that i dont have his mods... but he wouldnt roll down hte window and talk. he was just sitting there revving at me while his friend egged him on. he didnt want to talk.

and i know it was a civic, but i had taken my car out of storage after winter a few weeks ago. then it was in shop for a bit getting a spring tune, and this was the first thing i had a chance to kill in a while.
