    Yeah, we looked at those too, but we finally settled on a cobalt SS (the new turbo one not the SC) due to the price of gas. It's pretty fun to drive though, and fast for the price. Gets 30 MPG on the highway too.

    The CTS-V's have the LS6.

    they dont make a 5.7 anymore, dont the newer ones have the 6.0?

    The 1st gen CTS-V's had the LS6 (5.7). The new version, I believe, has the 6.2L LSA.

    No, first year had the LS6 5.7. The following years had the LS2 6.0.

    Next gen. gets essentially a detuned ZR-1 SC'd motor.

    I stand corrected. I never knew the CTS-V ever got the LS2. I'm aware of the LSA though. Not sure why these chose hypereutectic slugs for a blown motor, but whatever...
