DSM stands for diamond star motors which was a joint venture between Dodge and Mitsubishi. The best of those cars was basically anything that came with a 4g63 motor, which is the same motor that's used in the Evo (up until the evo X).

Some of the cars that were DSM's and 4g63 powered.

Plymouth Laser
Eagle Talon
Mitsubishi Eclipse
Mitsubishi Galant VR-4

Some of these vehicles came with an AWD option, I think the only one that did not was the Laser.

15k in one of those cars if you're doing the labor yourself could be a 800+ HP car. A good pal of mine has a 147mph trapping beast that he probably only has about that much in the whole car, and that's with the Dog Box transmission heh.

ok so his mods he was talking about.. evo turbo, ported and polished heads,disconect all ac/power steering ect. exhaust (obviously) intercooler, forged, injectors.. whole driveline redone.. i forget what else was done to it. I think me may be exaggerating on the price though

A buddy of mine knows a guy that has a 10 second Talon. If you know how to mod and tune them then you can get them to fly. The lowest number ive seen with one of them is 7 seconds so far. ...still wouldn't buy one though, haha. I'm more then sure with them mods he uses it for a track car, or atleast has taken it to the track. Go ask him what times he puts out.

negative, this is not a drivers race it the Talon will take the Camaro for a walk especially with those mods and that much money invested into the car.

Not with an Evo III big 16g turbo in it as was previously described. On race gas you're looking at like 117-119mph trap speeds TOPS.
