yeah maybe not, but I figured it would be good for extra insurance, especially when racing for $300. I need to get my car to the track, especially since this guy in the cobra was telling me he ran mid-low 12s, his best time being a 12.15. He was trying to tell me I'd definitely be in the 11s with a good launch, I don't know though, my car seems "quick" but not 11s quick.

Well took my car to a test and tune here at RMR(elevation-4300ish)
all runs were with 125hp. jets.

1st run- drove around burnout pits(street tires)pulled a shitty 2.2 60'(spun bad!!)-ran a 12.79@115.9mph
2nd run-huge burnout, pulled a 1.94 60' ran a 12.48@114.1mph
3rd run-good burnout, pulled a 1.90 60' ran a 12.39@114.8

I think if I can get my 60' times down with some DRs I'd be good for LOW 12s, maybe a real high 11 second pass. Remember guys this was my first time at the track with this car, if I could have gotten more runs in I think I'd have seen a 12.20. So I'm ordering a set of M/T DRs today, and I'm using the 17in wheels instead of my stock 18s.
